Good afternoon!
Happy Friday!
So many momentous things have been occuring in my life this past week! From features on LisbonSky to YouTube, I have certainly been feeling the love on this digital scape. The past week has really been a hustle for me on a few different levels. Long ago- before so much changed in my life and confuddled my routine with wishy washy ... confusion, I was once an avid yoga and fitness lover and partaker. I realize that a large part of my unbalance at this time is because I did not stick with my routine- and therefore, went through multiple physical & emotional changes that I personally say have not been positive. What I'm getting at here, is I finally sat down this week and assessed my current situation and decided to go for my Yoga certification this may at the Samarya Center in Seattle. I feel focused and progressive and am diligently working on a plan to organize my finances by that time- including a radical sale! - at my shop :) In addition to that new development, I'm hopping back across country next Tuesday... (i think?) to Washington to pursue this education and wrap up the home improvements there with Dave. And then I believe we are looking at houses down here in St. Petersburg?? Hahaha- who knows anymore?!
So just a final tidbit- I've been sticking with my project 365 on flickR ( see right for my most recent uploads). Some acid-free fine art prints are available at my Etsy and I am happy to take on custome orders! Here's my pic from yesterday, March 4th.
Much love & happy weekend!

Lisbon Sky Giveaway! & More News!
Hey everyone!
To start today off running- I just wanted to tell everyone if you haven't checked out Lisbon Sky's newest post- you should! I've been featured and we are teaming up to giveaway a super sweet prize pack! Don't enter here on my blog- but be sure to check out the interview & enter HERE!
Yay!
Ok- excuse my massive excitement, but I must admit that it is always nice to work with others in this digital atmosphere! :)
So I have been working a bit more consistently on my Project 365 on FlickR. It s been a bit hard for me to keep up on due to circumstantial issues- but I m feeling a power ballad and I am kicking into high gear in photography- art- and general life production! Here's my shot from Thursday the 25th:

I will be offering some ACEO prints shortly on Etsy! Also - I am preparing to move back to Olympia, WA on the 16 th of March- and have plenty of hoops to find new homes for! Leave a comment if you are interested in picking one up at a discounted price!
Much love- thanks for checkin in!

Really, the 9th of February Already??
Is it me? Or does time actually seem to go faster as every day passes on? ( Its not just me- I know! Heres a link to an interesting response to one person's query : )
Well, here we are, already a third of the way through February. I'm still in Florida- attempting to make get all my ducks into a row. Sadly a few of my duckies seem spasmatically ( yes, I made that up ) inclined to rebel from any such order. As soon as one light turns green I realize I ve gotten a flat tire while waiting! Haha - all to be taken with a grain of salt! I did succeed in getting into a tattoo shop- sadly however, it seems that shop is riddled with issues beyond my interest and I dont know that they are a fair representation of me- or an experience I really wish pursue.
I've been having lots of interesting fun with my on again off again love that is way far away - but still dear to my heart! I recently heard someone say "If it's not hard to do it's not worth it". Mind you- I think it was an Australian, which makes me respect it all the more! And in a sense I know that statement is right, but deary me what a rollercoaster!
On the up- up side, I have been crazy productive! I've started re-purposing hand bags with new art on them & I have been dabbling in creating some lovely femme fatale accessories.

So although chaotic- I remain in a state of growth and progress. I do have a few fabulous things to look forward to such as a blog feature on LisbonSky where I will be giving away a set of 5 prints! Be sure to check it out next week and enter! Also, KissNDMakeup is featuring one of my rings on her upcoming video- I will be sure to post a direct link to that as well.
Thanks for taking a peak! I look forward to hearing from you!

Knit Creations
Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying the season! <3 Family & <3 Friends!
I am so happy to finally have finished my most recent project. I have always wanted to knit- but was never able to grasp the ((surprisingly simple- once you get it ;)) "how-to" of it. This past week I decided on a random trip to Micheal's- in a random moment of randomness to pick up a ball of yarn and some needles. A short ride home and 10 minutes to research and I was off to my first knitting experience. I had tried a few times before- unsuccessfully and always put it down and forgot about it. But this time was different- I did some research, cast-on and was off to a blissful rhythmic knitting voyage. LoL!
Anyways- the first thing I knit was this lovely rich cowl- which I then decorated to my taste and have thus named the Luxe Cowl. Its darling- but punky and I think fits my style excellently!
It was really fun- although somewhat more detail oriented then I had originally expected- and I have never worked with lace before but a few hours and Voila!

So then I was off to my 2nd creation- the uber sext Corset Cuff- a little lace, a little sparkle and Mee-ow! I love this incredibly comfortable and warm wrist cuff. Lady like yet casual and fun spirited!
I just wanted to post a sneak peek before I list them on Etsy- they will be custom order so you can pick the colors!
xoxo

p.s. I have tons of new art- including Robots & Corsets!

Finally... It's Done!
Honestly-
I didnt personally do much work on this project. I deemed myself logical director and technical creator :). Dave is great at sewing ( thanks to experience sewing marine canvas) so I put him to work on the first ever collapsible hoop tote!
A few mis-stitched later, this tote is fabulous! Perfect for conveniently carrying your collapsible hoola hoop all the while protecting it from damage!

Check out the goods here!
All this hard work is makin me nappy!

ReBirth
Continuing on the note of chaos and crazyness-
So through death comes new beginning. It's just strange how quickly one may follow the other.
SaFire's workshop was this past thursday in Seattle. It was something I had been eagerly awaiting since I joined her online community HoopCity, an amazing place for hoopers, poi artists, and all those spiral loves! I couldnt wait to meet the creator of such a great community as well as one of the women whom I have watched hundreds of times on YouTube- where she provides some great tutorials on basic hooping. My digital hoop mentor! I was also excited to meet some local (kinda) hoopers and just hoop with other people! I swear Olympia is barren of hoopers.

This was the amazing hoop group who converged for SaFire's workshop. SaFire ran through some nifty tricks with us for about an hour, making rounds to us individually to work with us on any troubles we were experiencing. I have very bruised knees from trying to learn to walk with my hoop at my knees. Knee hooping is... my downfall. I swear as soon as it gets to my knees I'm essentially just waiting for it to fall- must practice! Here are a few shots from the workshop and the gathering.

Also I finally got hoop with my first client from Seattle- Ms. Amanda. She is so amazing! And somehow she has knee hooping down pat! :) It was lovely to get to hoop with her and she gave the Oddity a new home, as well as the Caramel Apple Swirl which her friend Jenn bought!

This lady is going to be an amazing hooper! As a matter of fact she is participating in a Duathalon right now I think! ( Sending some best wishes not to puke ! at 11:08 this Sunday mornin Amanda!) :)
While at the workshop- I met Anne of Seattle Hoopla ( picture below) ( shes the lady to the right of me ( I m the lady on the right!:))

Anne teaches hoop classes weekly in Seattle- check out her site here so you can get the low down on Anne & her classes. So through Anne I got my first batch order of hoops & I will be doing some design for her as well.
See- so quick, the cycle of up and down, round and round!
SO here are some new hoops I made for her fall class- super pretty!

If you want a custom hoop- message me on my Etsy! I love making hoops- I love to create these items which will bring smiles to so many people!
Ok, so at the close of the workshop portion of the meetup SaFire had us do a breathing, energy focus type practice that made for some cute pictures! Look at all these hoops & all these hoopers!! So happy!

Then of course- the sun went away and LED came out to play! Time to let the pictures do the talking! We <3 getting FUNKY! I didnt get the opportunity to personally meet everyone- so if you are here come give me a shout at HoopCity I m Lola!

LED Hoops are amazing and make for fantastic pictures and video! And they are super fun to hoop in just watching everything go round and round in a swirl of bright light and color!

I was amazed at this guys ground hooping! It was like he was blending breaks & hooping- awesome! ( See picture below- if you look closely you can see a large swirling hoop off his foot!! )

And voila, the day began- so the day ended.

THANKS TO DAVE FOR TAKING SO MANY GREAT PICTURES ( I EVEN SAW HIM HOOPIN XD)
&
THANKS SO MUCH TO SAFIRE! For being great inspiration, and so kind- and for creating hoopcity. MWA!

Art... To Be Tattooed

where you will find my original artwork. It aint nuthin special, but its mine.
Regardless, I try to produce art of a decent quality, usually reflecting my interest in tattoos and tattooing. Subject matter is mostly inspired from tattoos- especially of neo traditional and japanese styles.
Obviously I am in student mode and have much to learn- I appreciate anyone with any feedback or thoughts on people to take a look at! A sidenote that may be of interest, especially if you are a tattooer- check out my darling Dave Sinor's art here- www.DaveSinor.com he's wicked sweet at Japanese - especially dragons.
In addition to creating art- I also am a burlesque dancer with Tush! The Vaudeville Vixens , an Olympia,WA based burlesque debuting in late August.
